The style that became part of history
The striking and exclusive colour scheme recalls Moto Guzzi’s glorious and unique history, drawing inspiration from legendary bikes of the past, such as the extraordinary and ambitious 8-cylinder of 1955, developed to compete in the 500 class at the World Championships and destined to stun the entire motorcycle manufacturing world.
The colours of a legend
This milestone in the history of motorcycles debuted with a simple colour scheme that captured the very essence of racing with its combination of brushed metal fuel tank, green fairing and leather seat. These colours also came to characterise the Bialbero 350, one of history’s most successful racing bikes, which dominated the World Championships 350 class with a jaw-dropping 9 consecutive titles (5 rider and 4 manufacturer) between 1953 and 1957.
On the wings of the Eagle
Green was also the colour “worn” by the Normale, Moto Guzzi’s first-ever model, and ever since, it has perhaps been considered the Eagle’s most iconic hue. In the centenary editions it has been reinterpreted in a contemporary key by the company’s Style Centre in matt and metallic variations that speak of authenticity and robustness. Complementing the bodywork is a seat upholstered in natural coloured leather, testimony to the legendary Made in Italy attention to detail, while other special features include a special anniversary logo and gold finishing for the famous eagle.
